The patent-pending Vortex Iris Valve is used to control the gravity discharge of free-flowing dry material from bins, bulk bags, chutes and hoppers.

Horizontal valve application is normal (however, the valve can be oriented vertically for certain applications – e.g. used as a squeegee for liquid coolant on extruded, plastic pipe)
