The Vortex Seal Tite Gravity Diverter valve solves many of the material handling problems found with traditional flapper diverters.

Design engineered
State-of-the-art manufacturing techniques (including TIG welding for reduced heat distortion and lasered parts for closer tolerances) allow the Vortex Seal Tite Gravity Diverter to address leakage problems found in traditional flapper diverters:
A removable access door allows internal inspection or maintenance of the valve without having to take it out of place.
The unique flow design channels the flow of material away from the leading edge of the blade.
The vane and vane seal are easily accessible and, if needed, easily replacable.
A special shaft seal minimizes product leakage (and potential material spoilage) beneath the vane shaft.
An optional clean-in-place panel allows for quicker access to the interior of the valve for inspection, cleaning or maintenance purposes.
Seal Tite Gravity Diverter valve is a Salina Vortex trademarked product.
Industries utilize different equipment terminologies. This type of valve may be used independently or incorporated with other dry material handling equipment within a material handling system.
This type of valve may also be known to those within the dry material handling industry as: 2-way diverter, 2-way diverter valve, 3-way diverter, 3-way diverter valve, “A” valve, bulk solid handling valve, clean in place diverter, clean in place valve, control valve, diverter, diverter valve, dry material handling valve, dry material valve, electric actuated diverter valve, flapper diverter, flapper valve, flop gate, gravity diverter valve, “K” valve, material handling diverter valve, pneumatic conveying diverter valve, pneumatic operated diverter valve, salina diverter, salina diverter valve, volume metering diverter valve, vortex, vortex valve.
